On a last-minute booking by a design firm out of NYC for a special event for Austin’s SXSW, Stage Commander pulled it off in collaboration with the design firm team and it was a 1000% success. The end client was UBER, and we put their newest Waymo self-driving EV car on our decking. Austin is the newest city to release these self-driving cars in the nation.

Our dive team members worked extremely hard working underwater assembling all the equipment to support the weight of a 7000# vehicle. This event was a multimillion-dollar event based off of all the production that was present. Stage Commander’s truck and trailer and multiple fully loaded 53′ semi-truck/trailers.
