Intern – Stage Technician

Stage CMDR, Inc. is seeking interns in the listed locations who want to learn about working many various types of small to large scale projects with in the entertainment industry. Staging projects can range from building stages over pools, on sides of hills to basic stages.

Duties, Qualifications & Responsibilities:

– willingness to learn what it takes to work as a dual technician position for use of staging & lighting equipment according to company standards & operating procedures
– work in an a fast pace, demanding, structured environment
– able to use basic hand tools
– able to lift heavy loads (with assistance & with out)
– able to work odd hours at times and may be required to work some nights and weekends
– no experience preferred
– encourage high school/college students to apply
– must take company safety and trade certification exams

Project Developer/Manager

Location:

Stage CMDR, Inc. is seeking Project Managers who will liaise directly with clients to develop, plan and execute projects. As the single point of contact between clients and Stage CMDR, the individual will maintain efficient and professional client relations at all times.

Duties, Qualifications & Responsibilities:

– Calculating bids for multiple projects
– Assistance with developing and optimizing the company pricing model
– Understand of basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to completion projections
– Defining project objectives and overseeing quality of control throughout project life cycles
– Leading and coordinating all client development plans and presentations
– Assign project budgets which meet profitability expectations and scheduling all project milestones and deadlines
– Generating and updating all project quotes and ensuring financial operations are in line with billing
– Identifying required project resources both internally and externally, assigning direct responsibilities and engaging outside suppliers when necessary
– Communicating budget information to necessary intercompany departments
– Managing day-to-day project operational aspects and scheduling onsite personnel and labor requirements
– Ensuring all engineering safety requirements, quality control and design specs are met
– Managing final deliverables and facilitating hand-off to appropriate departments
– Maintaining close client relationships for further project opportunities
– Commercially knowledgeable, clients orientated and results driven
– Experience with AutoCAD, vector works, pro-engineer or inventor software
– Understanding of design principles and practices


Commercial Truck Driver

Stage CMDR, Inc. is seeking Truck drivers to operate Stage CMDR single/duel axle tractor/trailer combos.

Duties, Qualifications & Responsibilities:

– current CDL with clean record
– current medical card
– previous experience with flat bed/dry van trailers
– fork lift/piggy back fork lift experience preferred, not required
– can be currently working as owner operator
– willing to drive Stage CMDR rigs and/or own rig
– must take company safety and trade certification exams


Carpenter

Location:

Stage CMDR, Inc. is seeking Carpenters who can execute basic wood building projects from reading blue prints to hand sketched ideas.

Duties, Qualifications & Responsibilities:

– Basic carpentry skills
– Contractors license preferred but not required
– Able to operate more fabrication machinery
– Able to work in fast paced environment
