Portland, Oregon – Earlier this month Stage CMDR’s Portland branch supplied a clear plexi glass stage over a pool for a very intimate wedding on Fox Island which is located just outside of Tacoma, Washington.

This clear stage deck was used not only for the ceremony with breathtaking panoramic views of the Carr Inlet and Puget Sound channels, but it was also used to support the 250 guests that were dancing the night away as the reception went all throughout the evening.

Weight capacity is always a concerned question from clients who are always worried how much weight Stage CMDR’s stage decking can support. This same stage pictured below came with a weight load capacity of 115,000 pounds. Far exceeding what 250 guest weigh, all while dancing.

Feedback from the client was simply put, “The clear stage over our pool was the talk of the night and my guests raved about how such a great idea it was to cover the pool. If I didn’t cover my pool, I wouldn’t have been able to host such a beautiful wedding for my son on my property.”
