These runs employ many temporary structures and obstacles that contestants must overcome in order to finish the distance run. Many of these structures are built over bodies of mud pits or require that the athletes jump into the mud pits and swim out.

This year Stage CMDR was selected to supply its Commander “Grated” stage decks to use as apposed to the standard wood surface stage decks. Grated decks are just as they sound. Its a stage deck that looks just like a storm grate or a stair at a ski resort. They have jagged channels that allow liquids of such to fall through the decking.

These types of decks get used for many applications such as ski resorts, concert tours that need stages to allow for air, fog or nitrous to blow up through the stage, sporting events and all weather stages that are out on long term rental.
